Job Purpose/Summary
The Set-Up Delivery Technician is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, setup, and delivery of office equipment and supplies to customer locations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring smooth installations, maintaining proper documentation, and upholding service quality. The technician also supports general warehouse operations and cross-trains in related functions to support team efficiency and meet customer expectations.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Prepare equipment setups in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.

Collaborate with dispatch to coordinate and schedule installations that meet client timelines and expectations.

Interface with the service team during installations to identify and resolve issues before customer delivery.

Track inventory levels, report discrepancies, and support inventory accuracy across warehouse operations.

Follow dispatching procedures for scheduling and tracking installations using internal systems (e.g., E-Auto).

Ensure all delivery documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.

Deliver and install equipment at customer locations when required.

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked delivery vehicle.

Support general warehouse duties as assigned, contributing to an organized and safety-conscious work environment.

Travel, Training, and Education

Must be willing to travel to various customer locations, including occasional travel outside the local area.

Participation in technical training programs, sometimes outside the area, may be required to maintain up-to-date product knowledge.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or delivery preferred.

Basic technical aptitude and mechanical skills, with the ability to follow setup instructions accurately.

Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent changes.
Physical Demands

Ability to communicate clearly via speech and hearing.

Frequent use of hands for grasping and handling equipment.

Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting, including extended driving durations.

Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move up to 75 lbs safely.

Frequent bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
Position Type & Work Schedule
-
Full-time position.
-
Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Flexibility may be required during peak periods; overtime may be necessary to meet deadlines.
